I have searched the forums and cant really figure this one out. Or is it all separate problems that decided to show up at once.:shifty:
97 LSC
Problem:
No/low heat
Weak/medium A/C
Able to change from floor to defrost but cant change to panel vents. They intermittently worked when I first got the car.
All fuses are fine.
Done so far
A/C is charged
Made sure coolant is filled with no air bubbles.
Blend door looks fine and does change when selecting heat but still manually moved it and still no heat.
Checked for vacuum leaks but found none (by motor, vacuum canister and inside, also pulled off line on EATC and it did have vacuum).
Used stethoscope to listen to vent vacuum motor(yellow line). Sounds like it is doing something. Tugged lightly on line and it was still connected
Possible problems
EATC is shot
Vacuum motor shot
Heater core shot
Something inside the the vents keeping from some things moving. (mouse nest?)
The guy I got it from plugged in battery backwards which did fry some things. So maybe any electrical controls?
