Inside mirror is pretty cool, looks aftermarket since it's clipped over the original.
I'm not sure, but they seem to be pretty popular, here's another one with those wheels:

I'm going to do some research and try to find out if there is a Japanese LS forum, would be nice to see the kinds of things they've done to LS's...

I was going to point that out as well. The entire carpet is that way. The front just has plastic mats.

I think those are just floor mats. Theres another LS on that site with the same stuff in the front. It must be a Japanese thing...lol

I have no idea what that is but might have something to do with the stereo.
Did you see the Lincoln/Pioneer navigation? We never had that here.
I saw that. It actually looks better than the THX NAV from 2003+. And power mirrors? Damn. Looks like they never got the gen II over there though.

It is the 5speed manual cup holder.

A right driver side ls would come in handy cruising down the strip
Streets in Japan are so narrow, the bigger cars need a little "pole" that comes out of the top of the bumper to aid with parking and so on. Like this:

I was thinking it stood for Polarity, but then there is no POLE in polarity...It would be nice if the SST switched from +/- being up/down to down/up... oh well....would have never guessed it was for an actual pole

Taking a wild guess on this...but is it part of the security system? I used to have something similar where you had to insert a keycard or the car would not start. Looks like some sort of keycard holder thing.
