wanna do some mods please help me out?

okay i wanna do a couple mods, i recently purchase 2 new headlights with the grey sealent and i already have the instructions to take them apart. I plan on buying the angel eyes kit from ls koncepts. I also wanted to paint my bezels but I DONT KNOW WHAT KIND OF PAINT TO BUY(my car is silver). I also plan on using the paint on the eyebrows from lskoncepts. Now im confuse about my headlights, i want them to look nice and blue so ima purchase the blue rings but do i also need to purchase an HID kit? Guys please help i know im a newbie but im excited to fix my ride.

you won't notice them with the headlights on but they will look amazing with just the foglights on

Point Loma, just a short drive south. I am just getting settled here, trying to get a house and stuff.
Have you ever done any paint work? I did my headlights and B-pillars with a spray can and they came out very nice. Check my photo gallery.
 
I would hook up some type of switch to have them on when no headlights or anything is on also. It's nice to have that option to turn them on/off whenever. Especially if you're getting blue, you would want the ability to flip a switch off if you feel like any police are looking to get an easy ticket.

so blue is not street legal? SO is the awitch thing hard to do?

ya bro those came out really nice. I will order my angel eyes sometime next week with some eyebrows as well. If i have trouble will u be able to help once u settle in? and if blue is illegal will the standard eye color go good with deep blue hid's?

Red and blue lights displayed while the vehicle is in gear on public streets is illegal in every state unless you are volunteer emergency services and are responding - and that is in states where that is even legal.


I would imagine having the blue on the front would be fine unless like states earlier a cop was to be scoping you out. Then if you ever are pulled over for it, you can tell them you just had them @ an auto show or were displaying your show lights to a buddy and forgot to turn them off...

With them being in the headlight housing and are obviously sealed in, I think a police officer would not immediately assume you are attempting to impersonate an emergency vehicle. Now if you had random blue/red strobes flashing behind your grill or something, that would definitely be more fine-able.
