I know there are some othe threads on this, but i still had ?'s...

The noice in my car is getting louder, so I'm determined to finally replace the weather stripping....

First of, I need to know what to get....

(sorry for the low quality photo)
I'm guessing it's this piece that goes from the front door all the way to the back. It looks ok, but it cant be the piece inside the door...right?
That one actually looks better.
What will this cost me? Am I better off taking to the dealer to prevent future leaks?

Also, I noticed that this piece of plastic on the front windshield is loose(I can partially lift it up).

Does it also have to be replaced or can I glue it down?

windshield molding

I'm not sure what kind of noise you are experiencing but my windshield drip molding on the drivers side had come loose also and was making a tapping noise at highway speeds. I tried epoxy on it but the wind just pulled it apart so I replaced it with a new one. It was about $60 from the dealer and very easy to replace. Once you pull back the weatherstrip on the a pillar you will see it is just screwed into the a pillar. There is also a plastic retainer at the base near the cowl. There is also a plastic nipple on the molding that you need to make sure goes into its proper location near the cowl.

I'm sorry. I should have been more specific. I hear wind...lots and lots of wind when I'm driving....
