Well I took my own advice... and...

repete, chrysler won't go away completely. They will just restructure, and rip up their union contracts! Which is one thing all automakers need to do. They pay way too much to the union workers.

As you can tell, I'm not in support of the current union system. I agree with the original premise of getting a fair wage, so workers don't get ripped off. But now it's just the opposite. Union workers get the absolute most money for doing the absolute least amount of work. Hardly fair in my book. [rant over]

haha, Impreza same as STi, good one one has like 180hp, the other has 300. STi takes lil' to be a bada$$ car, still thought, new one is watered down abit compared to the new Evo but still potent.

Unions ain't what they used to be. I think my dad is still in a pretty good union as far as I know. My grandpop used to be one of the heads of the union, good old union wars. He threw a brick through a scab's windshield and dragged them out of the car and fought them. I feel as if I were born in the wrong era.

+1 I just did a report on this for my business class. The things they can get away with and still get paid for are RIDICULOUS.

Nice EVO. Once you boost you can never go back to NA. Thats why I jumped on a turbo again myself.

well, a Z06 vette would keep you content for a while i bet. of course later on slap the twin turbo in it like in the insane guys on youtube

My wife's uncle retired last fall from Ford. Worked there pretty much his whole life. The last 2 1/2 years that he worked for Ford....he didn't work. He was in one of those job banks. He got paid 85% of his wage to stay at home! Plus it was just like he was working when it came to personal days, vacation, bonus, etc.... And then they wonder why cars cost so much and the whole auto industry is going down the tubes. Heck I grew up in with my family owning the oldest Ford dealership in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I took 2 years off of college to see if I wanted to take over. I told my dad to sell it and it was the best decision I have ever made! Because the price of cars are so much why would anyone in their right mind buy a brand new car. Buy a used one with a certified warranty and save yourself a ton of $$$. Just my 2 cents.

yup...that's why I'm glad I can be self employed or work for an employer (In this case I work for a chiropractor) and at least get a working umbrella :-D

+1 I will never buy a new one...but I sure as f*ck will test drive it :-D

My new Speed6 with a 4000 RPM launch on the AWD will hit 60mph in less than 5 seconds and most STI's will whoop my ass.

I love honest people! :D

Nice car! Glad to see you didn't go back to a "Neon". I personally would have gone with the previous body style but that is still a hell a nice car!

Yeah, better than the srt and all my buddies have 8's & 9's. I couldnt be like them. Haha!

And for The Hotness....hope Crysler doesn't go bankrupt or it might be difficult to take it to a dealer :-D

Its a good thing that I bought a mitsubishi then :p

OH so sick!! I wanted a GTO to twin turbo for the longest time, then I looked at the Vettes. Ahh 700rwhp would be sick! But you could only really get into the power on the freeway :(

Hence, why I went AWD. More daily drivable power

No I didn't buy it cash, just put 10k down. :shifty:

You do realize the Mitsubishi brand is owned and operated by Crysler in their Detroit factories.......

You do realize Chrysler would sell them before going bankrupt as a last minute to make money to avoid bankruptcy?

You do realize that they could handle well on their own?

not with their rediculous prices :p

And yes I understand Crysler would let them go :p

OP, great looking car. the LS is a slug-box IMHO. i think it's made to be driven in style (slow) rather than excessively fast. that EVO on the other hand, is meant to haul a$$

The LS is respectable. Everyone hear likes to say how slow it is but I could list more cars that are slower than are faster (although the list both ways would be looooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnngggggg.) I mean honestly would you rather drive a 3 series than an LS??? I have two Mustangs if I want to haul as s or build an 800hp monster. The LS more than serves its purpose in my book.

Sorry but even with the LS's issues, I LOVED IT! I will be getting another one!!:D
Hope to upgrade to atleast an 03 this time around tho.

Btw, my car before the LS was a '95 trans am convertible with the LT1. That car scared the SH*T out of me.. Im happy with the slow and stylish LS

Ehh.... LT1s aren't that fast. The 95 put out 275 compared to your LSes 252 it was the 325 lbs-ft torque that would've made the car seem scary to you lol.

Pontiac Firedbird Ram-Air...loved the look of that moster..but never got to get in one....

Sing it brotha!

Its hauls for the type of car it is but thats that.

Way way back I had a 2001 Galant. With the way cars are changing appearance today I have always thought that they remind me of what the Galant should look like today rather than what it actually does.
