what is it worth?

I have found a 1998 cobra with the front and rear brakes with front hubs/knuckles. I offered 300 we landed on $400 for all the brakes including front hub.

Is it worth it?
what else should I look for? the engine and trans is gone...

400 is maybe fair for all four corners.
300 is a good price for the complete front i would say. then whatever you wanna pay for the rear.

i would just get the fronts. its the main braking upgrade.

i am going with the mustang lug pattern. shouldn't i get the rear brakes?

and do you know where to get the adapter bracket?

you should get the rear rotors. but the mustang calipers do not bolt on.
and building a relocation bracket for the mark caliper is easier.

here's the problem. the brackets only work with the Mark VIII calipers.
the mustang calipers are a different design with different mounting and different parking brake actuation.

also, the mark viii calipers have a larger piston and a bigger pad. you want to keep them anyway.

use the Mark rear caliper.

one last question. after hub swap. can I run 20x10 wheels in the rear and if so what is the largest tire possable?

you can fit a 20x10 with a 45-48 or so offset. the offset is very important.
and you could probably run a 285, or maybe even a 295 tire.
