Well, it does include the message center switches too.
One of the reasons that replacement parts for the LS are so expensive is that hardly any of them are shared with any other car. You're paying for the materials (almost nothing), the R&D (more than it would be since so few were sold), and storage of the part. It is what it is. Just be glad that you can still get it, if you really can still get it.

other than paying high prices for dealer parts, junk yards are usually your next best option. however, as they are prone to breaking (albeit, not like yours) if you do get one that is used, take some time and a couple of dollars in epoxy to reinforce the mounts around the screws that hold the buttons on.
