What kind of music gets played in your LS

Lots of Guru, Tribe Quest, The Roots, older Nas, CL Smooth, Wu-Tang, also I am a big fan of Thievery Corporation, Jazzanova. Sometimes listen to Jamiroquai too. Old Ice cube, Snoop Dogg or 2Pac if in a mood for it.

I just started listening to Thievery Corporation over the summer. Im diggin them.

Ha i like that boss hog, A lot of people arent diggin dipset but I always have liked them....you really killed them with carlos santana tho!!!!

the new mixtape "The Yeezy Effect" from Kanye West its pretty nice, kid cudi and kanye have some crazy beats that sound crisp on the THX system!

Im not familiar with "Sade".....

"Shah-Day" IMO, one the best voices in music. Check out her CD "Best of Sade", instantly fall in love with it and her

Disturbed
AC/DC Back in Black currently is in the headunit
Rush
Puddle of Mudd
Def Leppard

I have a wide range of listening taste. No death metal, punk, blue grass, gospel thou

Thievery is badass. Also try Kruger and Dorfmeister. They are really good.

Kruger and Dorfmeister- I'll take note of them.
I came across Thievery by listening to one of the music stations on TV

Newsboys, 3RD Day, Switchfoot, generally contemporary Christian music.
Not quite the same as all y'all, but I like it.

both of 3oh!3's albums are in my changer along with far east movements free wired, had them randomly playing for a week or so.

Nice to see a diversity in music but here's my two cents.

In no special order but thease are some favs: audioslave, Sade, wiz khalifa, depeche mode, tiger Lou, the verve, ugk, esthero, kid cudi, pink Floyd, santessa, zro...good music.

I'm mainly a rap fan, but I also enjoy rock and R&B.

Lately, I have been listening to a lot of Wiz Khalifa, Wale, Big K.R.I.T., Crooked I, Tech N9ne and Brotha Lynch. Sometimes I'll play some old stuff for a week or so, just depends on what I'm in the mood for.

I bought the new Kid Cudi, but there's only three songs I like. He's definitely in his own lane and has a unique style.

shiiit drake, lil wayne, fabulous, anything with good bass and nice flow i bump in the trunk :)

+1 (added to what I wrote already). Only my sentra bumps it cuz the ls doesn't have a good system anymore

Hm. Where the ravers at?
Orbital, Paul van Dyke, Daft Punk, Oakenfold, Chemical Brothers, ATB, BT, Crystal Method, Sasha, Tiesto.... Electronica is at least a third of my collection. More than half of my vinyl.
Rush, Genesis, Led Zeppelin, Van Morrison, Thorogood, Beatles....
Bloc Party, Deep Blue Something, Pearl Jam, Toad The Wet Sprocket...
Type O Negative, Govinda, Dido...
Newton Faulkner, Marley, Toots...
Nine Inch Nails, Dropkick Murphys...
Modest Mouse, King Biscuit Time, Temple of the Dog, King Missile... (worked at a college radio station, ripped ~130 CDs on my last day.....)

I try to keep up with current alternative, but the albums tend to suck outside of the radio play. Still pissed at Finger Eleven and Grey Flap for convincing me to buy sh!t albums.
I still put the Led, Fleetwood Mac, Wild Eyed Boys, Mamas and the Papas and a bunch of electronica on the turntable. Sadly, not in the car. Reminds me it's time for a new needle.

Ok so I got curious about what everyone listens to in their LS. So I wanted to add what's in mine.
1 TOOL
2 NIN - year Zero
3 Eric Church
4 Deftones - diamond eyes
5 Sevendust
6 Static-X live
I think its helarious to pull up next to others at a light while blaring TOOL or Static-X. Can we say whiplash !

Music?

Always nice to see the 'chirrins' havin' fun.

The problem is that 'rap' is simply belligerence bayin' at the moon. There is no recognizable music in it---just noise with a central core of big mouth. Recognize that it comes from such characters as 'Ludacris' who obviously doesn't even know what that misspelled word means.

I really expected that someone would champion Zappa doin' 'Dog's Breath in the Year of the Plague' or Iron Butterfly doin' 'In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida' but insisting that the only version worth listening to is the 'Long Form'.

There. Now I feel better!:D
