I'm going to be buying new wheels and tires for the mark. I'll be going with an 18" wheels now but revised the title to see how much tire you can put on the 20's esp out back.

I"ll be hubswapped to mustang pattern. I searched through all the threads and couldnt find anything.

What size tire are you running on your 18" wheels? I heard its best to go with an 05+ offset but i'd use 99-04 mustang wheels for the time being if i found a set at a good price.

I'd like to go with something pretty fat and meaty in the back, the 4.10's and eaton true trac is pretty much locked all time under accleration and lovesssss to kick out... so i'd like a little more traction back there.

I've been ordering all kinds of stuff and cant wait to have it back and then hubswap...pictures to follow.

Thanks

I'm using 18x9 deep dish chrome bullets 2005+ offset running 235 50 18 with asham 8 and tire is just touching fender well with no rolling

Will be going 245 45 18 when I buy new I took the 235 50 cause they were available and cheap

I have no plans of rolling fender and only drop car when parked and that will be very seldom car is set about 1" lower at my preferred driving height and tires dont even think about rubbing and car sits very nicely

Nice. Any pics?

I'm running 20"x 8.5" all the way around, first set of tires I used 245/35r20's nitto 555's they were great got 30k+ out of them. Currently I'm running 255/35r20's nitto INVO tires with better grip and no speedo errors. When I finish roasting the rear tires thanks to the vortech s/c I will be using 275/30r20 nitto 555r drag radials

Hey guys, I'm running staggered 20" TSW Mondello wheels on a Cobra hub swap. 8.5" wide up front with 40 offset (will go with 35 offset next time, as there is still room to push the wheels out) and 10" wide out back with 35 offset. Had to roll the rear quarters a bit and shave some of the inside, upper corners of the rear bumper (or you can just let the tires wear it down). Tires are Falken FK451, 255-35-20 and 285-30-20. I have some pics somewhere..... This setup is on my 96 LSC.

Cool, love the car.

Thanks everyone, i went with some staggered 18's

I am running standard offset Mark pattern Saleens with 255/45 tires and had bad rub. Cut the fenders and installed Bilstiens and there is no rub at all now. My Nitto Invo 275/40s show up tomorrow but they should clear as well.

Good to know, ill be running 24mm offset up front and 22mm in the back, 10", probably run a 275 also. I have about a half of inch on the fenderside difference it looks like from the stock 36mm offset.

How do you liket the invos? is was looking at some

Dunno, they just got here a couple hours ago and havent been able to install them yet.

I like teir looks and they have excellent ratings for traction and they seem to be the quietest tire out for an ultra performance tire.

What's the part # for the Bilstein's you installed? And did you have to do any extra work to make it fit? I'm running 275s on the back with blown rear shocks and it rubs like mad.. looking to hopefully fix this.

No idea what the part number was. They are one of the single best suspension mods I have ever done though. They are 03/04 Cobra Coupe shocks. They bolted right up, no mods at all.

Got them on and love em! They are by far the quietest high performance tire I ever had. They also ride great.

Traction. I am not too sure about. They have more then the car needs but I dont have the power to really test them. Its much harder to do a brake stand cause they grip too much. You can do it but they stop spinning pretty quick and the cars brakes cant hold it still.
I also tossed it into some corners but now the understeer is HUGE. The front end pushes really bad and the ass wont rotate around.
Gonna need sway bars and a pair of Invos for the front to really see how much cornering grip they can tolerate. As of now I cant make the rear step out even under full throttle in a corner, nose just starts to slide.
