It may be a while before I can actually do anything with it but have been wondering what would be best to do with it. I have thought about either parting out what I can get which is not much at all then junk the rest or just junk it and not worry about it.

I have thought about parting it and selling some of the parts. Mostly just the engine, trans and rear end. Given the engine is in good condition. Most body panels other than the paint is in good shape and the interior is no good.

Have also thought about keeping the windows but nowhere to keep those so that may be out of question.

Just looking for early thoughts before I do something with it.

part it out. or sell it whole to another enthusiast, so as to keep other Mark VIII's running.

I'd part it. Between the corner lights, brow, grill, motor/trans/rear you'd probably be at about a grand~. Add in scrap value and other misc odds n' ends and you'd be closer to $1500. You'd get more parting it but it also requires more work. If a member offered a fair amount I'd let him have it and not worry about dismantling it. $900-$1000 as a "Get it out of here" price.

Assuming of course that the motor/trans/rear irs and in good condition.

How bad are the seats?

Not in good condition. Right now don't remember what the passenger side looked like but the driver side is torn all on the side and the foam was not in good condition either and the back seat has a hole in the middle. I'll try to get some good pictures and post them.

I have also thought about keeping some of the parts as a "just in case" for my 96 LSC. But also not much room to keep the parts doesn't help. The front seats I might keep just for the frames.

There again this is still up in the air for me right now.

Thanks guys for your thoughts and input.
