whats the most mpg can your V8 do???

I can average about 22 driving 150 miles highway, then drive like 50 miles city and it drops to like 17

Sounds like my '03 LS8. It would probably get 24-26 if we drove 60mph instead of 80mph. Mileage is 2-3 mpg worse in winter.

Does anyone know the difference between the two LS V8's that are listed? One is called Lincoln LS 8 cyl, 3.9 L, Automatic (S5), Premium and the other is Lincoln LS 8 cyl, 3.9 L, Automatic 5-spd, Premium. They sound the same but the MPG rating is different.
