Whats with all the Cobra emblems?

Yup. Cobra Star emblem looks teh dumb.

Good point. I should've clarified that i'd never put them anywhere on the outside of a mark. The one Lazer put on look's good. I don't think the sc'er has anything to do with it..:p
 
The 96-98 Cobras ran low 14s in the 1/4 mile. If the car was modded, it might be a different story. I beat an 08 GT at the track this last year pass, after pass, after pass, and those are even quicker yet in stock form. I guess I just know how to drive. :D

No he has a 1st gen and his wife a 2nd gen, and I have a Cobra. We all like to get on the interwebz and fap to Mark pics until we see one with snakes.
But to each his own, just trying to figure out where it came from.
 
One of you guys talked about geno, and you still dont know where they came from?

Who cares, our heavy pigs run 13s, 12s, 11s, and 10s in the 1/4 mile just like Cobras all while riding in the lap of luxury at 4000#. A Mark VIII can do anything a Cobra can with a proper setup. All it took for me was bolt-ons to run faster than the 96-98 Cobras. But that's only fair because I am way heavier. Give me a blower and I'll run right along with the 03/04s.
 
I am going to a chinese restaurant for lunch tomorrow... that is about the same point as this thread

it would look like a lincoln emblem on the side.... are you asking would it look dumb???? if it was the size of an apricot, and vinyl, and on the fender, probably not, make it the size of shaq's shirt and made out of plastice and put it on your quarter panel, then yes most likely it would look ridicoulus

Preaching to the choir my friend. Im on the hunt for a Mark and will be shooting for your record. Tired of shifting gears and getting new fillings.

After finishing the build on my Supercharged Mark VIII I sold my 500 rwhp 03 Cobra 6 months ago and still no regrets.

I've actually considered swapping out the Cobra emblems out for these. Looks like the ones that come on the new MK series cars. I love the size(huge). I was thinking of either on the fenders or maybe even on the side pillars. I found the fenders are tough to find a flat spot for emblems because of the curved body lines.
