I put a K&n intake and magnaflow exhaust on my 2005 ls v8 that only has 45000 miles on it and now it's slower. 0-60 is now 7.5 and it doesn't seem as torquey when accelerating from a stop as I don't pull away from traffic like I did before, it's more likely for 3000rpm instead of 2000rpm. I tried disconnecting the batt twice and it makes no difference. there car was owned by a old man that brought it in to ford for everything but it sat around a lot since it had only 38000 on it when I bought it in california and it has a clean carfax. I need a tune don't I? I love the car but i'm sad it's acting like this.
