Whatta Deal, check this out!

There's a BEAUTIFUL 2004 LSE for sale here in my town. Sangria Red, 29K, 17,950. MINT condition, at least the exterior. I gawk at it all the time when I see it driving around. Just went up for sale.

damn the prices for LS's have dropped so much even in the 2 years i've owned mine. i bought my 2000 LS V8 for 11.5k!! it only had 50k miles on it and was in perfect condition, but still, that would probably sell for only about 7k these days.

Same here, I bought mine almost 2 years ago (this coming July) for 10.5k. It's gotta be because of the gas. Cars that don't get great MPG just don't seem to be selling all that great right now for some reason...:( Stupid gas prices.

i think a lot of it has to do with the 06 models being sold for so cheap which had a domino effect on all other LS models from previous years

Got my 2006 Premium & Elite packages w/ NAV and all with 19K for $24,900 ( I have the original window sticker showing $47,9xx). Not the absolute cheapest price in PGH, but I couldnt find a cheaper Black on Black. I didnt want any other colors except dark grey or black but HAD to be black interior. Asking was $26,995 I didnt fight them too much, I just wanted the car.

LS just isnt a value any longer. The sticker on my 2002 LSE with 252hp was 42k back in 2002. The local Pontiac dealer has a new loaded G8 (about the same size as the LS) with a 6.0 liter 361hp engine for a sticker of 31k. Ouch

styling is subjective, but I personally think the G8 is pretty sharp.

And that 361hp is more than the entire 3 series lineup, with the exception of the not on dealers lots yet, new generation 70k M3.

Apparently you've never been inside a GTO. I like the G8's for the most part but the rear end with the tail lights doesn't click with me.

+1, GTO does have real nice interior, not so much for the G8 though. The exterior looks a little busy for my liking but overall it's a cool looking car and drives very nice. I drove one with a V8.

The LS was an entry level luxury car. The Pontiac isn't. My '06 LS stickered for ~$50K.
