Anyone know if Tire Kingdom is a good place to take the LS for alignment. I hear the LS is kind of difficult to align. I just had to get a new set of tires today. It appears the inside walls of my tires were worn pretty bad down almost to the steel...I hope it was just from me not having it aligned like i should and having the rotated as often. Also what type of alignment should be done on LS?

Find out what kind of guarantee/warranty they give, some places will give you a 1 year guarantee/warranty for a wheel alignment. Also get a print-out of the alignment specs - each line item should be green.
And you should get a 4 wheel alignment, not just a rear or front-end alignment.

Maybe its just me being paranoid, but I am very reluctant to have independent third party tire shops do an alignment on my LS. Yes, some shops do the alignment for free or very low cost if you buy a set of tires, but I've never been fully convinced they know how to do one properly on the LS.
Instead, I have the dealer do it since I feel they are most knowledgeable about the LS and have worked on the car and its suspension before. In fact, I frequently get flyers from my dealer in the mail offering specials on routine services like wheel alignments for something like $69 for a laser-guided super-duper four-wheel alignment. After buying a new set of tires, $69 is cheap to get the wheels aligned properly.

I went to Tire Kingdom yesterday....i got a 4 wheel laser alignment...129.00....3 year unlimited miles and can have it realigned as often as i want...I hope it was done right..they gave me the printout of the before and after...the back tires were both red..off by quite a bit....my tires before the new ones were eating away at the inside walls down to the steal..the rest of the tire looked fine....i am going to take it to dealership anyways so they can inspect my components on my suspension and front end
