what factory wheels will *directly* bolt onto a 98 mkviii?

They never changed the bolt pattern so all the wheels (snowflakes,20 spoke directionals,10 spoke directionals and octastars)all will fit your '98.

yes ls wheels will bolt on, might need a spacer though cuz ive heard the backspacing looks wrong, as for the jag wheels, look on the ls side, lots of them are runnin jag wheels, and even one markviii, mafioso (probably spelled that all wrong, sorry, you know the guy thats grinding away the bottom side of is car lol)

Geezer, you need the next one down. 5X4.50 bolt circle. You just have to check your stock offset.

How do I find out what the offset is? Do I want the same offset in the larger wheels?

You can look on the inside of your stock wheels. It should be on one of the spokes. It might say 17X8/24MM.

u can add ferrari to the list. i,ve got 19x10 on rear will take up to 295 tire 50 offset got to roll the fenders which is no big deal.for the front with stock offset a 255 is as big as u can go with 8.5 rim
