Wheel Rim Offset question

I'd like to upsize my rims to 17" Bullit style.
Is there something different about mkviii that needs to be considered?

Most are hub swapped. I'd prefer to not.
What is the stock bolt circle dia.?
What is the stock offset?
Perhaps that will limit my choices or even change my mind.
Currently I have octi-star rims. I don't hate them but I don't love them either.
