wheel spacers

Funny M4rk, that's what I like about those tires, I didn't care for the look of the skinny 235's so I went with 245's and the Nitto 555's are known for having a larger contact patch compared to other makes with the same sizes. I also think it looks better in person and in motion than it does sitting. I suck at taking photos and can never achieve the best angles, but in person this car has been transformed compared to stock. The car is also sitting on a slightly declined parking lot which I feel exaggerates some of the proportions of the car. Like I said not the best pics, but in person very sporty and aggressive, definitely not too low, just as low as the BMW or Benz cars with the sport option...

Looks really good! I think 20mm is ok. 23mm should work too because the stock wheel is only 7.5" wide.

Putting a 20mm spacer on an OEM 60 offset wheel essentially makes it a 40 offset correct? Or am I completely wrong on how that works...

I know lol

Most everyone around here probably doesn't even understand or know where "illest" comes from. Once I get some wheels and rework my suspension I will have to educate everyone on a proper slam.poke.drop.tuck.dope

There is already one LS that is getting stanced. I plan on joining the club :)

are you referring to the ls in this thread that is getting stanced? because in all honesty, the only way to get the desired stance, drop, and wheel fitment, i think you would have to put the ls on bags, the car is just too heavy and there aren't any coilovers made for the car, so a static suspension that would allow for all that would be nearly impossible without too much stuff going wrong. just my opinion tho, i could be wrong. but it's your ls if you think you have an idea that would work go for it.

No no no not NHViggen's LS.

I can understand your concern and lack of aftermarket suspension options but there is an LS guy who is trying to work all that out currently. If he gets it right (no bags) then i'd like to move forward in the same direction. I'm basically allowing him to be the guinea pig

spacers would be a piece of metal that would go over the studs and you would just put the wheel over it. the adapters would be specially made "spacers" that go over the existing studs completely and have studs welded or secured on so as to safely be able to mount and secure wheels on them....i thhiiinnkkkk

Uh oh, vip'd out LS? I don't think it has the body lines for that type of stance, especially given our homo bolt pattern.

I thought it was spacers= same bolt pattern & adapters= different bolt pattern?
