My 6 year old knocked off the little lever on the rear AC vent of my 2000 TC & chose not to tell me in which the part is not where he put it. It's the lever that you move left to right to adjust the direction of the air flow.

Anyone know where to get this or do you have one? Tried the dealer, but no luck...

Best bet is to try the junkyards, or find a parts counter guy who'll go the extra mile for you. This is a classic example of the benefit of building a relationship with that kind of person at a dealership. On the other hand, if all you own is one Lincoln and it rarely requires parts, our Panthers are quite durable, it is difficult to get to know anyone at a dealer, but it can be done.

I imagine most late-model salvage yards will want to sell the whole console and not individual parts. Which leaves you with the take-off-your-own-parts type of junkyard. It's likely to be slim pickin's at those yards. Fortunately, this is a situation in which Lincoln offering only 2 or 3 interior colors may be a benefit.

Have you googled for a Lincoln only salvage yard ? That's something this country could use and we'd all appreciate.

I'm sorry, I know none of this is much help.

Good Luck, KBX

well i have the whole console, from a 2003 though, i needed the arm rest from it (mine is broken) so if it fits ill give you the lever, if you still want it.
