This Hottie does not need 3 Mark VIII's Rich...I have one Mark VIII LSC :D

Seriously, we need to combine them, the 2nd gens seats and tail lights, keep the 1st interior, and all the fast stuff, start with the LSC 1st gens body, swap out the grill for the 2nd gens (make it happen...no whining), rear tail lights of the 2nd gen headlights of the 96 LSC, adding several other swaps and keeps to the list....ahhhh the way I would love to really personalize a Mark VIII nice...we gotta do it ;)

All that talk about 1st gen.,2nd gen., lsc or not lsc! what difference does it make? Their both great cars! But I do have a 2nd gen. lsc, So of course its the best!! The only thing I feel they should have changed was the hump on the trunk. They should have taken the hump off the trunk and but it in the back seat where it belongs!!::rolleyes: D
 
Lol! i wouldnt fancy trying it in the back of a Mark VIII! Have to be a bloomin' contortionist! I am however, impressed with the trunk space. I took a snooze in there a few days ago! Needs one of those inside trunk releases like the mustangs have.

Shouldnt matter too much for the mafia guys. I would imagine their cargo to be dead! lol. Anyway can always finish em off with a few 'gonks' of the shovel! Then bury them with it!!! Lol. :shifty: :shifty: :shifty: (notice i have 3 shifty guys, one to keep watch, 2 to carry the 'cargo') LOL.

As a matter of fact, I put my 94 up against my friends newly purchased 97 LSC. The only mods I have is the muffler delete, air silencers removed, and cold plugs, none of which really make a difference in power (obviously I didn't spray... no point.) From a dig through the end of his first gear was dead even, he shifted and I pulled a fender by the time I'd shifted. Through second gear, same thing nobody gained ground until he shifted into 3rd, then I put about a car and a half on him before I let off at ~100.

The 3.27s and duel exhaust didn't make up for my Gen 1's intake manifold and tune...

He wants to do the KB 2.1 kit now... :rolleyes: (But it's OK if he does, because unless he does C heads and a whipple 3.3, I can just bring out the Apollo and put a few buslengths on him that way :D )

So what maybe a car length at the 1/4 mile mark, thats not a whole lot. Would have been most interesting if it was a Gen1 LSC/same intake.

On the way to a car show I saw a 95 Mark VIII, lowered, oversized tires in back and a blower sticking half way out of the hood...He pulled over and when into a 7-11..I seen my opportunity, I took my stock 97 LSC and I floored it! and "WHOOSH" right passed it, It never know what hit it!!:rolleyes:

I meant to post this but have just been too busy to. right after I posted this I e-mailed the guy saying he was a joke and full of it.. and he kept on replaying saying how his nascar buddies knew everything, and how this car is so rare because it came from the factory with lower gears. I believe he said it had like 2.63 or some low # like that whatever the gearing is.. idk but he was totally wacked and never had any real answers... just vauge inputs... I made so many good points and he made none.

But as to your other statement about they are all great cars.. you couldn't be anymore correct. It's just fun having these little threads to play with...
