Would this be acceptable as mercon v in my transmission? If not, where should I get it?

Also, I just ordered a shift kit, 1-2 accumulator and pressure regulator valve from baumann for my 94....I have never ever worked on a transmission before. How hard is all of this to install? Do I need special tools? How do I make sure the torque converter is drained? How do I make sure it is filled after as well?

Thanks.

My local Advance Auto has GENERIC Mercon V for like $2.49!! That is, IF they can keep it on the shelves.
I saw some there too.
