I got mine from here dbleb88@yahoo.com But some have gotten no responce. Then you can try racebronco2 at his Ebay store. Just pop a question to any of his items here. He's the MKVIII Santa of Ebay. | eBay

Does the whole switch need to be replaced or just the end piece? I have a whole extra switch assembly and need the button replaced also

The switch is not the issue. The chrome plastic washer button usually pops out with its spring at some point. Its a very simple plastic button that has 2 clip like plastic tangs and one thin plastic tang that pushes 2 contacts closed when depressed to start the washer pump. A plug & play R&R.

I have 20 of those in my spare draw. Both the chrome tops as well as springs. all fit the 1998 and 1997 marks howya@sprynet.com andrew.

YES i HAVE 20 CHROME DOMES FOR THIS AS WELL AS 20 SPRINGS THAT SLIP INTO THE 1998 AND 1997 LINCOLN MARK 8.

Thank you for all the information. I'm sure it will come in handy trying to get my 97 back into shape!
Exactly like mine. When I bought my car a few months ago, the button and spring were in the ashtray, one of the tangs broken off. I can still stick it in there to use and then put it back in the ashtray, lol. Would love to fix it right.
