Wonder how bad the crash was. Prob Rebuilt and never drove right after. I would stay away. If the owner could come up with photos of the damage before and was not that bad be ok.

Just because it has low miles don't mean it is a good buy. It is clean but would really need some good records for the price it is going for.

one must question why wouldn't you warm it up to remove the rost only from the fron and rear windows before or wait till later in the day.

those accident reports are kinda bogus. take it with a grain of salt, and inspect the car on a case by case basis.

i've seen cars i know haven't been wrecked with salvage titles, wrecked cars repaired better than new, and my brothers car has been in two ditches and wrecked two or three times over the years. and none of that shows up on a vin number check.

so whatever.

if it looks good and drives good. who cares?

Why does everyone think that an accident is the end of the world for a car? I know there are people that do not fix a car correctly when it is damaged but there are people that do it right so you would never even know it was damaged. Damageed or modified what is the real differance can you tell me?

I have repaired damaged cars for the last 35 years and not one of those cars would not align perfectly after the repair. Full frame cars with frames spliced and unibody cars where two halfs were welded together again. Stop perpetuating a damaged car is no good!

If the buyer is smart, those wheels are perfect to keep in the shed as someone's winter beaters or if you come across a cheap flip Mark, you slap them on & sell it! :)

Bad idea, for some reason the combination of chrome 10 spokes and winter salt will literally Eat the threads off of the half shafts. Only the chrome though, painted ones don't seam to be affected.

I have no worries of buying a car that was in a accident but would like the seller to be honest about it.

I didn't notice that when I saw the ad. I still think it's a clean car. Not one to purchase online without seeing in person though. It could've been something retarded taken care of at the dealership. Dealerships have to report it so who knows, could've been a swapped bumper, a scratched fender, God knows. A good inspection will reveal the truth. I'd still be all over the car if I was in the market.

I hear ya. Perhaps MAACO was not a good choice.

My silver car was totaled back in 2008. $7000 worth of repair. I teeter-tottered off of a concrete barrier on the highway when I made the decision to get over on the shoulder when a semi came over on me. I had no choice because there was a car in the other lane to the right. Needless to say, I didn't have enough room. BANG BANG! The front bumper cover, rear bumper cover, hood, left front fender, left rear fender, right rear fender, headlight, tailight, etc were all crunched. I was dragging pieces home with all of the bells and whistles going off after I restarted the car flipping the inertia switch back off again.

2 years later :D Wheew! Thank God for full coverage insurance. I still had payments left on the car. The body shop did an amazing job and when I went to pick up the car I almost cried.
