:slam :bsflag: NOT flaming, just keeping it real for those who look in. Even with a hair dryer, unless he's tubbed with big slicks, just can't see it.95sc said:I think my brother pulled 3.2 seconds 0-60 mph at the track according to G-TECH meter.

Why not? Look at cars like Viper,ZO6,Ford GT,Ferrari ,Lamborghini.............they all run from high 3 sec to low 3 sec 0-60 mph and high 11's to mid 12's 1/4 mile on street tires. So,you're saying that mark 8 running 11.8 1/4 mile on slicks can't hit 3.2 sec 0-60mph.MonsterMark said::slam :bsflag: NOT flaming, just keeping it real for those who look in. Read my post again ,it says slicks.I never said anything about street tires.MT ET drag 26/8.5/15MonsterMark said:Wait! You said your brother's car pulled a 3.2sec 0-60mph.
I said b.s. not because I think you are exaggerating, but rather because I can't see a 4000 (race weight with driver/gas) on 225 or even 245 7.0 inch street tires having the traction to do it, especially with an IRS. The rear would really have to be worked on to defeat the tire hop and the stall would have to be pretty big. At least 3500.
These are my opinions but I can't see a 3.2 0-60 happening in any MarkVIIIs that I have ever seen.
I have a call in to a guy and should be able to confirm what it would take to do it.
And was your brother running slicks or drag radials?

0-60 in 5.9-6.2 plus gears.

MrWilson said:no one knows the mods on that car, so why are we saying it cant be done?
Because is limited on tires.Put slicks on it and a good driver and I'm sure it'll even hit high 2'sMonsterMark said:A Ferrari Enzo weighing 2800 lb and sporting 660 hp runs 0-60 in 3.4
No problem,I'll let you know when we go to GLD next time.MonsterMark said:I sure would love to drive in one, that's for sure .
Crapy video but here it is Click here to see VideoMonsterMark said:Let's hear the mods. Be happy to investigate.
chickenviii said:bryan i saw this car last year just after he did some of the mods and was still working on the tuning and it was in the high 12's then, its fast!!! and all the supercars i feel were made for more than just 0-60 times or even 1/4 mile they are for top speed and/or extreme handling etc, so the designer compermises here and there sure this linc will beat in a 0-60 but the lambo would crush it in 0-150
MonsterMark said:I hear ya. Still not convinced. Your talking at least 1000lbs more. An IRS,
4R70W. What's his 60 foot?
The Enzo can drop the clutch and hold 1st gear all the way thru 60.
Like I have said a couple times. If he can, it'll be the 1st I heard and I want to be the 1st to take a run in it. And I'll be the 1st to congratulate him.
Hey driller I have a stupid ?How do you get effective tire radiusdriller said:Here's one of the better track times to 0-60 converters...
Acceleration Program
My 0-60 comes in at 4.84 using my best track run data.
Using 'stock' Mark VIII numbers, the 0-60 is 5.73 seconds.
