Looks like some "nice" person placed two small stones next to the pivot and now my wipers will on go about one inch and then return down. I believe the arm and pivot assembly has been damaged as the motor runs ok.
My friend at the Lincoln dealer told me the 94-96 unit is what I need.
Hopefully someone in the group can point me in the right direction!
