Hi All I hope there is somebody that can help me,

I have this strange wiper problem. It seems that after I use the wipers and turn them off the blades rarely park themself in the propper position behind the hood. Instead they park themself in the fully extended position all they way to the left. After numerous attempts turning them on and off they finally will end up parking behind the hood as they should. There are no obvious reasons for this problem on the stalk and the problem seems quite intermitent (sp?).

This is a really anoying problem! Please help!

The park mechanism in the wiper motor is bad. You need to R&R the wiper motor. Make sure the new one comes with the park mechanism as I heard some don't but both I've done in the past did come with the park mechanism.

A few years ago someone posted how to rebuild the park mechanism only. It needed to be cleaned and lubed. Something about a pin that gets stuck (sorry, I never had to do this myself).

The wiper motor isn't hard to remove, just a bunch of busy work removing the cowl parts.

You can try this, I found it searching on here one day, run the wipers, & when they stop in the up position, push them both down after you've turned them off, they'll pop, but they'll also go down & stay that way. If you're gonna have to get a motor anyway you might as well give it a shot.
