i have a 02 lincoln LS and i was wondering whitch colored wire is for the radio's antenna connected to the HU....i want to say yellow but i'm probably way the hell off. Thank you.

Are you adding an aftermarket system? If so just get the correct wiring harness and go from there.

The antenna lead is a special cable and really shouldn't be cut and soldered...if it could be done at all. And if you screw up the factory lead, you're in for a mess of trouble replacing it. I would find another method...such as a different adapter.

it is the only big single plug and big single wire. it has a bare connector where it goes in to your radio. i think it plugs into the passenger side of your radio. let me know if it works.

what i ended up doing is i went to the junk yard found an LS and cut the plug from the FM antenna wire, then soldered a little antenna like the ones on wirless network card to it and plugged it back in to the head unit so it only picks up signals within a 5 foot radius and since i have the transmitter in the lighter right below the stereo....boom.

yep my whole center console just went up in flames it took two fire extinguishers and a bucket of water to put it out, hyelifeLS im selling whats left everything must go from bumper to bumper start PM me and tell me what you want and what you want to spend cash only punks.

:shifty: how much for your antenna, the custom one that you made?:shifty:
