i need a good working alt, only respond if you know 100 % that you have one with no problems. i already have junk, so i dont need another junk one. please let me know if you have one, i need it asap. the one in my 95 is toast and i dont have any.

There has to be a good rebuilder down there. The guy I use up here is so old school it`s scary. Not many left like him, darn near 70 years old. He has rebuilt garbage that I`ve taken him, only had to return once.

Are 93-96 alts interchangeable. The one for my sons 96 has a different part # compared to the ones on my 93s. I need one to so this is why I ask.

jamie I have one that was on my first 93 that i did drive before i junked it for my current 93 so i know it works. Make me an offer.

96-up are better units andinterchangeable. The earlier ones I believe were made by Mitsubishi and 120 amps. The later ones were 130 amps and much more reliable. Jaime: Some are going on car-part.com for as little as $15. The one for $15 has a warranty.

this guy hand one for sale a few days ago out of an 97 mark
he wanted $50 if its a business so If you wanted to give him a call
here is the number 952-583-4500

My 94 has an alternator in it from my old 97... You just need to pull the harness a little bit to get it to hook up, but i've ran my car like that since I bought it.

i realize i can use a 97-98 alt in the 95, my point was i dont have a single alternator, 93-98!!

230 is a good price for a new one, however this was adeal of a life time $500 dollar car that has well exceeded that price now and after replacing the air ride, brakes, radiator, clock spring, battery, on and on and on......................
i dont feel like dropping $230 bucks for an aternator, specially right before christmas, i've dumped enough money into it in the last few weeks and its not even really my car!

"Ummmm..... I have one. Make an offer and it's yours"
i honestly dont know what to offer, i'm watching one on egay right now $38 bucks plus 10 to ship, do you know for sure yours is a good working unit?

In my experience, even though I work for Ford, I do not recommend you buy from them... I bought one for first 94 back before Ford lowered the prices on a lot of their stuff. I bought a Ford alternator for right around 400 bucks -- 1 year warranty on it. That alternator died just after 1 year, the parts manager told me to pound sand (he was a dick anyway) So I bought my second alternator from Autozone, I dont remember what I payed, but they have a lifetime warranty. Now... I had 2 bad alternators, first one was DOA and the second one died after like a week, but the third one has lasted until now, like 2years. The biggest thing with these, is since they are so easy to get to to replace, i bought the one with the lifetime warranty... just my 2 cents
