WTF do I do

ok, first, contact the local public defender's office...they are the attorney's that the state provides in court...offer to pay them, they shouldnt offer much...like probably super cheap...all you have to do is get them on your side, go back to the dealership and lay their business card down on their desk...i always go to advanced auto...i went to auto zone several years back and tried to order some KYB struts for a 240sx and they looked at me like i was making it up...but they will plug in a diagnostic to your OBCII port, then take it in the back and print it out for you, nothing will be erased...i had 3 coil pack out at once...and mine did not act like the way you describe...but considering the fact that you bought your LS from a KIA dealership should have sent out red flags immediately...i paid a local public defender $100 to get my liscence back without having to do rehab and that was hell of going back and forth to court for 2 months...go in and talk to them...maybe he can even make the dealership pay for Lincoln to work on it for you...i dont know, but its a chance...if he talks super professional then maybe...are you still paying on it?...or did you buy it cash?...thats some serious BS...

Public Defender is for criminal defense not civil crimes. They are paid by the state and don’t take money or do civil work on the side, conflict of interest. You may have paid $100 in fines, from what you said you had a DUI. The courts don’t make you go to rehab or suspend your license for civil law suits.

AH HA!...but you are wrong...they do...i went and pled my story to the judge, he said no liscense without rehab...and yes that was a stipulation...i had no fines...technically i had fines, but i was given time served...i had a boat load of charges in all...but yes, in fact i had a rahab stipulation...and when i went to get it back...they said no...so i went to one of the local public defenders office and gave him $100...he went to court for me and gave me a piece of paper saying it was all taken care of...why exactly dont you think they would do a civil case?...all you need is their card, them on your side and to maybe make a phone call for you...just to talk legalities...trust me, when people hear the term "attorney" and they know that they are doing wrong, it will make them change their attitude...

or he could go with a civil attorney, but they are going to charge way more...never hurts to atleast try with the public defender...civil may be the way to go on this one...i am used to criminal court...not civil...but regardless, with the problems he is having, i believe having an attorney on his side would be of great benefit...they are giving him the run around because they think they can....

The best course of action is to just go through with the lemon law buy-back and move on to another car. If that falls through, then consider going to the trouble of talking to a lawyer about any possible actions against the dealership.

The one thing I hadn't mentioned yet was i arrived there one day and overheard him telling the other service person "tell me when the fat :q:q:q:q with the ls comes in" I played it off because me and him were always ok till yesterday but i have had enough now

The buy-back option is still the best. If you want to sue them, you're going to have to hire an attorney, and you're going to be stuck in a big "he said, he said" quagmire with no guaranteed outcome, so you might go through a lot of time and trouble with nothing to show for it other than having enlarged the bank accounts of a couple of lawyers. Just follow through on the lemon law option, and write it off as tuition to the school of hard knocks.

If you look at it objectively, no matter what they've said or done, if they wind up buying the car back from you, you've won. Period. Just let it go.

Yeah right now we are just going to pursue the lemon law option, I mean i've missed tons of work due to this damn car, wasted a ton of gas (the coils were causing such low mileage and the dealer told me its because i put 93 octane in..WRONG) and many days i couldnt drive the car because the dealer told me not to untill they have room in there service dept to fix it. The ultimate win for me is them buy it back and i walk out smiling making sure i and everyone else i talk to avoid them at all costs! I do figure the crap talked, refusal to fix, and lack of fixing power steering after 5 attempts will work for me(still whining like a baby). The cars no start problem, 2 coils now, and the 23 days they have had it will only help as well!
On the bright side ive been able to go back to my roots a 1990 mustang lx 5 speed not 302! but 331!

EDIT: heres the power steering scream, its an 02 v8 57k miles power steering has been worked on 5 times and still does this for the first 15-20 minutes the car is running, my neighbors actually come outside and ask what is wrong haha the dealers reply "if it were a new car i can understand you not tolerating that but its not a new car"

The noise in my post above seems to have gotten alot worse and is now continuing as i drive which never usually did at least this bad

It is OFFICIAL we have a hearing, we are waiting for a phone call from the woman to tell us the date!!!

I bought it from stevens KIA so i dont know if a lincoln dealer would do the work?

That was your first mistake, they :q:q:q:qing suck. They tried to sell me a ls, stating the wrong mileage on the car and jacking up the price then the price advertised.
