Hate to burst your bubble guys... but it's legit, in a non-legit manner.
The ten cent resistor, loops a sensor. Telling your computer that the engine is COLD. 99% of the time you can get a good 15 or so BHP. So is it really a lie?
Also, it's $20-$30 for the "chip"
Yes it's a 15c Radio Shack Resistor, but it DOES do the job.
You know what that nice $1000 PC in front of you right now costs me to make? About $200.
So If I make that much markup on a PC, why can't some dude who wires a resistor?
You know how much 200mb of webspace costs me to host to you? 0. But I charge $2-$7 for it. How's that for a markup?
It's all around you everyday. Every single item you buy costs 2% of what you paid. But you buy it.
If you put your car on the Dyno, and it doesn't show an increase in HP than you have a case against the guy. Unfortunately, that's not happening. You will see the increase.. he gets away scott free.
I wouldn't rush out and buy one, thats for sure... but think about it... do you crucify the guy for making money on a little knowledge?
