Are you just polishing the pieces or are you getting them coated? Curious as I am about to embark on a project to polish some aluminum valve covers and timing covers for my 3.5 Dodge. If you do polish them do you have any tips or tricks to get into the corners and such. Any help would be greatly...
I had the same problem, very simple, replace the motor or just get an assembly from the wreckers and change it. Bearings are done and it is drawing too much amperage blowing the fuses.
Brother over on LOD selling his Mark. I sent the link to Thaywood as well but thought I would post it here as well

Well here in Canada, our laws do not allow for the machines to be rented out or maybe more to the point the people that have them do not rent them. We can buy stuff at our local auto parts places and such to recharge a system but you still need to take it in to get it evacuated.
I am lucky, I...
Guys, I can see doing the bulk of the work like changing the parts yourself to save money but you will never get the system working "properly" and for any length of time if it is not evacuated correctly. Talk to a local shop and see how much they will charge for an evacuation and recharge...
I have a complete 96 BLK on BLK LSC that has a perfect interior but it would be too far away for you and the cost to ship would not be worth it. A black interior would look great. Nice car by the way nice job.
Depending on what you want the finished product to look like. If the paint on the car is good and not faded out spraying the new pieces off the car is not going to be an issue but it might show as the color might not be a good enough match for a butt match. If you want it to look like original...
Fastenal!!!
I have heard nothing but good things about their shipping. They have so many locations across the country it is well worth looking into for the larger bulky items.
Thaywood, That brake line that you replaced, was it between the master and the ABS pump or was it after the ABS pump? You know where I am going with this right? If it was between the Master and the ABS pump you might be into having the ABS bled out so you can get rid of the air on that side of...
Tony, maybe so but that means you maintained the brakes BEFORE they caused and issue with the rotorsa and you are not trying to repair a turned rotor which is now thinner than it was.
Machining a rotor was to try to save them in the day when things were made properly and robust. There was...
How about this situation and I am not saying it is this in the case of this thread.
Said auto has the rotors machined and then installed with new pad. Car is then driven a few miles and brakes are applied numerous times on the first application there was no feel of vibration and then the next...
98 is a one year only sensor and are very hard to come by. 97 seem to be out there all the time. Just get some 97 and you are done. Not worth in my opinion to get something other than the year of your car when there is so much confusion on them.
