Well my problem persists even after replacing this sensor... and time is only making it worse. There's a horirble whining sound coming from it so I only drove it about a half mile or so. I think the transmission fluid may be gone or low. How do you check it on these cars? :)

Roughly 50 MPH, 1500-2000 RPMs or whatever that is in overdrive. Then randomly it's in neutral (the shifter's not, but the transmission feels like it is), then it goes back to normal. I'll try replacing that sensor since it's cheap.

My '94 has a terrible oil leak. If the car sits in one place once warmed up, it literally leaks about a half quart in a day. Yet it sits in my parking lot for days without dripping but a few drops. What are the most common places to have such a major oil leak on these cars?

I just wanted to see how my '94'd look without a front license plate so I unscrewed it. But the big ugly bracket is held on some other way. There are four holes and they don't look like normal screws. How do you pull this thing off? :)

For some reason I thought airbags had their own power source.

I have a perfect steering wheel from a 97 Cobra I parted out a couple years ago and it looks identical to the one on the Mark VIII. It is missing the airbag though. Is there a good, safe way to remove the airbag and steering wheel from the car so I can put the Cobra wheel w/ Mark VIII airbag...
