Well, the car's in the transmission shop at the moment. I'm waiting on them to call and tell me to pick it up.

I helped a buddy do it on his Cobra and he insisted upon doing it with the car level. I don't know why. Maybe it's cause always uses a lift. But, I agree with BlackIce.

GMAN, it's not a bad deal on the chip but, it looks like the first gen Diablo. You might want to look for the Diablo Delta or the Dialbo SportChip. You can take em from any Mark VII/VIII, 88-04 Mustang, Cougar, or T-Bird. From what I'm told they're better. And, if that chip of his is...

I dont see why they wouldn't. We put them on a bench side by side. I'd still get the long tubes or 3/4 tubes but, they're just a thought. Long tubes sounds wicked!!!!!!!!!!!! No exceptions.

the funny thing is, the day before I left to come down here, I got a killer deal on an '05 Mustang GT. It took all I had to walk away from it. There I was in the middle of showroom picturing myself riding in that thing on 20" Zenetti Throwbacks when reality hit...I'D HAVE A CAR PAYMENT...

And if you're looking for a more affordable alternative, I was shown the stock manifolds from the Mach I's and Marauders. They're worlds better than the Mark VIII and 96-98 Cobra ones and best yet, you get probably score them free.

That's actually what I'm going to look for tomorrow. It's my only option at this point. I'm guessing the car would have to be at least be 97-98 to get one with decent mileage on it. And I should get it from a Grand Marquis/Town Car. Those would be the cars that have taken the least abuse...
