Dash Cluster Intermittant Powers Off Issue *Still*

As a rough fix, try redirecting all grounds to another ground on the chassis. If not, try running a direct 12v power source to the battery. Looks more of like a databus fault though.

Has anyone replaced a Gen 1 Instument Cluster and reprogrammed it with Forscan?

What's the current cluster doing? When I used to have my LS and I used forscan, there would be a code for SCP Data Fault in the IC section. However this was not an actual problem since I had no issues. This code appeared across all 3 of my LS's. If you are having issues with the module not...

    Terrible battery arcing

Did that with my first LS when I was gutting it out getting it ready for the junk yard. Surprisingly enough there wasn’t any damage other than the seats going forward when I pushed the switch backwards lol. Swapped it back and she started right up with no issues

Thank you Joegr for the diagrams. Now one quick question, would the harness/wires exist under the seat if the car never came with heated seats?

    Tire doesn’t spin freely....Out of ideas...Help!

Remove the rim and check if the hub spins freely. If yes, perhaps your new caliper is touching the rim. If no, remove the caliper and check if the hub spins freely. If yes, check your caliper to see if you’ve compressed the piston In completely and evenly. Verify if the pads are correctly...

Did first gen LS's come with the seat belt reminder option?

Interestingly enough when poking through the instrument cluster using forscan, the option for beltminder was set to disable. Changing the value to enable did nothing. Guess the 00's aren't capable.

Hey all, I'm giving my cousin the LS for the weekend and would like to enable the seat belt reminder option. I remember trying to do it on my first LS (00 v6) but to no avail. I currently have another 00 v6 LS and am curious if it will work or if I will just be wasting my time. Was this ever an...

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I've last posted since I've sold my LS, but luck has it that I stumbled upon another with lower miles and better condition. However for the past few days I am noticing that while I lightly tap the brake pedal to slow down just a bit while coasting down the...

    Oil in coolant?

Well, i went to take a look at the car. Indeed there is oil in the coolant, but the engine is knocking and has a rough idle. Also, the oil light is on (of which I assume oil pressure is lost due to the oil cooler being ruptured. Do you guys think this motor has a chance of being revived?
