If your front susspension's worn out, I wouldn.t even recomend putting it on a track.

Check the door switches. I had a problem with mine some time back, I don't recall the symptoms, but their a circut in them so it dosn't dump an open door onto a curb.

I would suspect the switch, in both cases, mine stopped similarly, I was able to take the switch apart and clean the contacts, works great.... Should be a post about it, be careful, the contacts are spring loaded if I remember correctly, I used dielectric grease to hold everything in place.... ;)

I haven't used the Auto Lights since I've had the car, I tend to susepct it's in the dimmer switch.

My alt. died in St,Louis, AutoZone, Advance, and I believe the local Ford dealer were all about the same, around $250 for the rebuilt house brand and +$80 for the Motorola/motorcraft ? my battery tested good, that was last August.

I had the same problem, there was a broken wire inside the MultiFunction switch, I was able to take it apart and re soldier it. There's not really that much inside there.

Welcome aboard Bobcat... ;) I would think U-joint for your rear, the weather strip is a pretty common issue, there was a thread here where somebody covered it with a plastic trim.(I haven't got that far) As far as millage, you should do a LOT better than that with the factory chip, I would...

Ok, you can't reprogram the key fob..., there's a plug in the glove box you have to short to accept your code. There's a how to somewhere around here. ;)
