If you put a trak-lok out of a solid axle car into your IRS, you will never again be able to remove your axles. The side gears are different from IRS to solid axle. IRS side gears have a bevel cut into them so that when you pull them out, it pushes the circlip in and the axle can come out...

My friend did that on a 90 SC we were parting out. Luckily we already had the interior out of it so there was nothing else there to burn, but that was quite the fireball.

The only way is to find a shop that will re-drill your rotors with the cobra bolt pattern. There is no factory rotor that will fit right with your stock brakes that has a 5x4.5" pattern.

The stock cruise control cable is way too short. From what I have heard, you need to get a cruise control cable for a 96-98 cobra. One of these days I might try to find out how long the cobra mustang one is, and search through the junkyard to see if I can find one that will work. For now...

Just get some aftermarket high-flow cats. They are on ebay for about $60 a piece all day long. The driver's side will be a PITA because of the cat being directly on the manifold, but you could even gut that and put a high flow cat right after where it was.
