Got the car back from the dealership today and they couldnt find out whats wrong with it. They say it has to be internal. But i know its the timing chain because i really hear it now. But i think im going to part ways with the lincoln lol. Im going to try to get $2000 for it. Its a good deal...

Did the dealership find this problem or did you do it yourself? Because I dropped my car off at 9am and they said I wont get it back until Tuesday and im like WTF???? But i suggested the timing chain to them.....Was your car throwing out a misfire code?

I took it to the dealership today and they said it is misfiring on cylinders 1-4 now and they won't be finished all the testing until Tuesday. As I stated earlier I heard kind of a knocking sound from the front passenger side of the motor. Could that sound be the timing chain/tensioner? and...

I cleared the codes and they were back up within 20-30 min or less.
