I noticed that you have the Metra double din kit. How well does it match? Debating whither or not to buy the DVD bezel. My Metra kit isn't installed yet, but it looks like the color is slightly off.

Didn't have a CEL before the COP change and always use 91+. However, I didn't disconnect the battery. Hobbits were the reason I tuned up my LS....they kicked out the engine Gremlins. I'll guess I will try that and see if it's a driving hobbits issue...thanks

Just replaced 1 coil, 8 spark plugs, motor oil change (synthetic), and new air filter today and my fuel economy noticable dropped (1-2 mpgs). Just got the tranmission flushed a month ago. Have any of you experienced this?

Mph I get about 25.5-26.5 from San Antonio to Houston trips going 70-80 mph (LS V8). Funny thing at that time I had 1 COP that was out or going bad. City driving is another story, I get anywhere from 16.5-21 mph (mixed suburban commuting conditions).

I bought my ls a month ago and was having the same problem. It was the front wheel sensors. Apparently the hubs leak water over time and the water damages the wheel sensors and/or hubs. There is a TSB out regarding this problem. I had 2 go bad since I bougth the car. Sensors are $40 and hubs...

The fake face plate would be for theft prevention. Some people with double din nav units have made a faux radio cover from an old stock radio to cover their nav screens to prevent theft when they park their cars. I've seen them made for hondas and nissans, but I never seen one made for a ls. I...

That seem like it would be tough to do since the existing area is flat.

I would like to know if anyone has ever made a fake faceplate for their double din nav radio for their LS. Can it be done. Are their any pic out there of a LS with one?
