Nice truck,
I just bought an 08 Vivid Red w/gray leather less than a month ago. Lincoln dealers are practically giving them away now. I paid less than my buddy who just bought an 08 F150 Lariat similarly equipped.
There really great trucks and you do not see many others on the road.
I understand that front bags (air struts) should be replaced in pairs.
I just purchased a 98LSC with 75k miles it has had the drivers strut replaced at the LM dealer two years and 10k miles ago. I am having some front suspension noise from the passenger side where the original strut is...
My 97 LSC the headlights work just fine on automatic. I leave them on auto all the time. Today it was cloudy and they had not come on so I switched over to ON. Nothing. The readout said autolamp off. But no headlights or dash lights came on. Switched back to auto and when I pulled in the...
Just finished my 97 also. Same thing was about 3-4 hours. And $30 from Max. Not that hard to do if your at all mechanically inclined. I have restored many old fords and lincolns so I have taken out dashes before just never on a "newer" car. I wondered if mine had been done before also. I...
My 97 does the same thing. If you bang on the steering wheel it will tilt up and down until you exit the car again. The dealer is right. I have just learned to live with it.
My 97 has no heat. Probably the blend door problem. Anyone out there tackled this in there Mark ? Any advice is it a real difficult job. Instructions seem not to difficult just wrestling with the dash pad removal.
This sounds strange but bang hard on the top of the steering wheel while holding the button. Works on my 97. mine goes in and out just fine but the up and down will only work if hit the wheel.
My 97 does not have one either. Must be another Ford cost cutting measure. I thought the same thing this car has all the bells and whistles on not even an underhood light.
Thats a tough one. It is more a matter of styling. The STS looks better than the Conti. I have not owned a Seville. But have owned an Eldo and a Mark VIII and a Continental. My favorite was really the Eldo, sorry to say I am a die hard Ford Guy. The NorthStar is really a sweet motor...
Has anyone completed the oil pan change ? Is it a do-it-yourself project or best left to a shop to repair? If a profesional job how much $$ Mine has a few bubbles I am going to try and clean up and rust proof to save it.
Just had my fan motor replaced last week for the same reason. . They had the car 2 days. Also did both valve cover gaskets. And replaced the drivers seat track. It was making a clicking noise on autoglide. I had a 2005 LS6 for a loaner. It was a base model but it was nice.
Still under...
I am also getting that smell, noticed the other day after a sharp u-turn.
Is it usally one side that leaks more than the other ? Where do they leak.
I am still have some warranty left on my 01 LS8, It would be nice to get both valve cover gaskets replaced under warranty. Maybe a little...
