lets see if i can give anymore details... my car seems to heat up very fast but never overheats even after longer periods of driving, my resevoir slowly gets lower, theres never pressure in the resevoir.... I just removed the crossover tube cap to check for air and antifreeze bubbled out.... if...
So recently my car has been getting low on anti-freeze but I cant seem to find any leaks. Today I decided to open the coolant resevoir after driving it and there was no pressure? Any ideas whats going on?
I wanted to know if ifan 18x9" wheel with a 5x4.75" lug patten and a 36mm offset will be fine for our cars... and if so what type of tire should I go with?
It sucks that this happened and I would assume your still going to get a ticket. I would say to go make a complaint... believe it or not, they make life very hard on cops (stop them from moving up in the department, they can be put on probabtion, if they're already on probation they are put on...
I just ordered a full conversion kit with a 1.5" drop and I was wondering if my car would need an alignment afterward... I assume so, but I just wanted to make sure. Also, I am going to be ordering 18" wheels this summer and I wanted to know what would be the best tire for them. Anything else...
Well my car is 97. I'm not looking for any gains... for that matter i'm not really looking for anything really other than working cats. I just dont want to dish out all that money to replace them with oem cats. I know the driver side is attatched to the manifold but i dont mind the work if it...
Anyone ever done this? Any problems with sensors? If so,any ways to get around them. I think mine are going and for the price of the oem replacements i might as well find a new mark
Yea like I said labor is a killer... normally I would question it a lot more but with the amount of room you have to work with when its your p/s pump i'm not too skeptical of the price... I called a couple other places and they're prices ranged from 385 to 450 for just the p/s pump not including...
Well it is my power steering pump. I also need a new belt. The total cost is about $400.... does this seem about right? They're still working on it at we speak. Labor is a killer!
Well I just talked to my mechanic and he said the p/s pump is gone... He said he believes its leaking oil from somewhere as well but he can't check until the new p/s pump is put on because its leaking p/s fluid everywhere.... I'll post again once I know more.
I'm assuming its a line because all the power steering fluid just drained out from sitting there... I'll let you know for sure tomorrow. I called my mechanic and he said to come around 6:45 so we can see whats goin on
Thank alot... The only reason I cant tell is cuz the :q:q:q:q is everywhere. I tried lookin from above but the size of the engine leaves little room for lookin... i'm sure you know. If it helps i'm hearing a noise coming from my engine... i'm assuming its my p/s pump.
I cant really tell where the leak is coming from considering I can't drive to my friends garage to lift the car up. All I know is its leaking... somehow fluid managed to make its way onto my alternator? Any ideas on the price of labor to fix this?
So last night my car was stuck in a spot because of snow... Well I let one of my friends drive while me and 4 others pushed that car out. My friend decided to redline my engine with the steering wheel turned all the way to the left. Now power steering fluid is leaking everywhere.... Any ideas...
