Because your post was more inflamatory than his.....his was a generalization, and you went direct to callin him not such a nice word.....THAT is why.
 
MPH shows horsepower, ET is all about traction. The only way you trapped that MPH is with a cheater nitrous shot or with a converter and cobra intake manifold combined with all your other mods. I know for a fact your Mark VIII doesn't make as much horsepower with the mods you listed than my friends auto Z28 LS1 who traps 105mph and weighs a good amount less than your Mark VIII. Like NYC LSC so eloquently pointed out, you can post up whatever timeslip you want, doesn't prove it's yours. The video that you posted of your car before the 3.73 gears and headers showed average Mark VIII acceleration which would give you 94-95mph stock. With the shorty headers that added 10hp max and the gears and pulleys, your car would be in the 97-98MPH range. That's 7-8mph less than what you claimed you trapped (104.8). Where is the extra 70-80 horsepower coming from?

Your right I was mistaken, MPH does show horsepower I meant to correct that but somebody locked the thread earlier. Sorry but I'm done HERE for awhile. Been nice talkin' with you all.
 
He was basically making a comment....he could have used a better phrase......like.....don't get your panties in a bunch......or quit yer crying.....or something on that lines.....BUT, he made a generalized comment......not something so direct......basically it was name calling in general and we can not have that here.

So, not more about this, or the above administrative actions will be taken. Or, just take it off line.....not here.
 
I hope, despite all the distractions, the original poster garnered some idea of how to get a Mark VIII in the 13s... :mad:
