You bought a lincoln you thought had a blown engine and it fired up and your b1tchin'? I'd be laughing my ass off it ran at all!!!

Those appear to all be transmission codes. The p1000 is just a system not ready/not all tests completed for emissions testing.

another thing, your putting the car in gear and trying to drive right? Because the care won't rev very high or have much power until it thinks it's in gear.

The LS comes with a Rev Limiter 3k is about all you get in P or N... The 1st Gen ones can remove it. 2nd Gen - 03+ (except for 1 that I've heard of) have been unsuccessful at removing the limiter with the SCT tuner.

all transmission codes - looks for a connector not connected - or some blown fuses/relays.

the P1000 is just a 'you have not completed a full emission test cycle' yet

I believe that he said he put a junkyard engine in, but it's not 100% clear.

ya, every fuse has power in and out, all plugs are conected,i switchd relays around, ...... it is a salvage yard engine, (runs great exept wiring or somthing)

silly question - but is the transmission and the engine from an 2003+ as well?

and did you replace any of the electronics - PCM, REM, FEM, .....etc?

tranny is the original, i replaced the engine only with one out of the same vehicle, everything looked identical,

have you actually driven it down the road yet?

because this sound totally normal (for a second gen LS anyways)
when they are in P or N they wont just rev up as you push the pedal to the floor, it will just super slowly rev up to 3K and then just sit there, no matter how far or fast you push the pedal down. thank you ETC

16 codes is not normal though!

it does not run in gear either!

my scanner does not do the functions that i need to cheak diognostics

sounds like maby a pinched wire from around the bell housing and check fueses with key off and key on some fuses are ground based and only show blown with key on sounds like tcm is not getting power/blowed fuse could even be ignition switch not feeding power correctly

dude has not been online in three years, probably not gonna get that message.

At least it is a new member searching and trying to help......but I think you are right about him not getting that message.
