1994 Mark VIII Wont Start

Ok, My 94 Mark VIII was running fine until the battery went dead. I charger the battery and tried to crank but it wouldn't start. I checked the fuel pump and it works but it's not getting power. I checked the shut off switch in the truck and the #30 pin on the relay and there is no power. Could the Anti-Theft system cause this? If so, can I reset it? Please help I am lost now
 
happened to me all the time when my battery is dead. try boosting the car. or get or borrow a new battery.

also read in your owners manual on the auto theft shiet. read the whole thing actually, it answers a lot of questions.
 
I don't have owners manual. Where can I find one?

id be more then happy to photocopy you the pages you need but i facking lost mine and i was reading it not even 20 minutes ago fack
 
So, does the anti-theft system cause the fuel pump not to receive power and whey does a dead battery cause this to happen or does my key need to be re-programmed?

Yes, The car will turnover but it won't start. I drop the fuel tank and checked the pump with a 12 volt source and the.
pump works but I checked the power to the pump leds and no power then I checked the pump relay and there is no power to the #30 relay power source. This is crazy

Was there ever a resolution to this? I didn't have my battery, oil, or steering rack in my car for about a week. When all back together it doesn't start! It cranks but doesn't fire up.
 
You still need an owners manual? I happen to have a cherry one you can have for $25 shipped.

Is the anti- theft light flashing?
Did you try bypassing the fuel relay? Pull the relay out, look at the side of it,
there is a wiring schematic printed on it
swap the fuel relay with the horn relay...see
of horn still works...
Easy solutions..there ya go
 
did you hook your charger pos and neg to the battery the wrong way by accident, even if you did it quick you might have fried the pcm or the vcrm which has the fuel pump driver in it, you said you blew a 20 amp and after you changed it the fan stayed on, you may have damaged the vcrm somehow.

Good question, mines BDay is 10/92, I have the light AND the dealer pigtail to the ECU plug on mine
 
does it flash when you when you shut the door and arm the alarm? haha, i have never seen this.
 
I brought the thread back to life and see if any of these will be the solution. no anti theft light here either on my 98 lsc
