Sorry, I didn't inform you guys on the outcome. I visit Scott Levine at Team Ford in Cobb County, he's owned and work on Mark VIII for sometime (His car is in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords). I asked him and he said that it was my computer, so I went to the junkyard and purchased one and that solved my problem. Scott said that I should never jump my Mark off with another car, just remove battery and charge.

hopefully that isnt my problem. I checked my fuses and relays and they are all fine. I think my clockspring is shot because my horn doesn't work but i swapped the relays to try it anyway. The anti theft light is only on when the door is open with it closed and door locked the light is off. any other ideas?

He's right, kinda. You can jump someone off and be ok but I would make it a preference not to because now you know just how fragile a PCM is. Glad you got it fixed.

I can take it out and take it to them to be tested? I just don't know what could happen. The battery was out for a week, I changed the steering rack and oil and now it won't start. It cranks just fine just doesn't fire up.

they need it in the car

Yes it can be tested in the car...if you shorted somethig, then you fried it, next time you plan on doing ANY elecrical work, take the ground off the battery....

Double check your battery charge, then do a lil something extra, peak under the car and make sure that the CPS didn't get unplugged while you were doing the rack

Whats the CPS? I have checked both the crank and cam sensors and they seem fine and show the correct resistance. Would leaving the battery out of the car for awhile change anything?
