You don't have struts. Your Connie does, but the Mark doesn't. Anyhow, the floatiness could be attributed to both the springs and shocks since they came from the less performance oriented V-6 Thunderchicken and thus are softer than what came on the Mark VIII.

One thing I have to say about this whole thread. All you people who are stuck on keeping your airride and hate the idea of a coil conversion, I don't understand why people are mentioning putting junk in their car. Suncore? C'mon.

Hate is a strong word.
Air is nice because you can put your ride height were you want it.
There is nothing wrong with a conversion when done right.
Your car is just too high for my taste, if you like it that is all that matters

Air ride or conversion if you use cheap parts, it will ride like crap or clunk, or both.
