Hmm I cant seem to find any at that size either. They are all 2.5". Could I just go from 2 to 2.5 or would that be an issue?
Any competent exhaust shop can adapt the mufflers to the existing piping.
Ok, well I just planned on having my friend put it in for me because hes a finalist in the nation welding chapionship (2nd place I think). So I figured I would just buy all the parts and take it to him for labor trade (I fix up his computer when it crashes, he welds my stuff onto my car).
A muffler shop is better.
They have all that stuff there and can just grab it. Mine will even make they're own adapters on the spot or bend pipe. Its hard to buy parts and then make them just fit. Better off lifting the car and seeing first hand what you need.
A simple chop and weld is super easy and not much labor involved at all.
I suggest clamping the tips on untill you are fully satisfied.
The stock tips are horrible.
Dont cheap out on getting mufflers with stock tips. And they will not look good welded onto the bassani's. At least get 3.5" tips but 4" tips are even better.
Those tips were big in the 80s/90s. I'd pass on 'em for an LS.
it has it listed on the tag on the body in the driver door jam (right below where the A pillar ties into the body)
