Hey guys. I am down definitely for sunday the 5th. I am supposed to work at the liquor store on saturday, but I'm on the phone with them right now trying to get it off also. As for where to meet, I don't have any great ideas, but I will check it out and see what I can find. Anyone have a cool place for some pictures in the metro area? Also an LS/Mark meet would be sweet. My buddy just bought a 98 Mark VIII LSC. He is in the process of fixing it up. I don't know if he would want to come, but I'll try to get him to.
 
I'm not from the metro area, so I have no idea where to meet. Somewhere to get some good pictures is my only concern. Somewhere with a good backdrop.
 
I still have my dads' shop lot we can meet up at, its only a few miles from Medicine Lake, never been there though.
 
how bout a casino? it'd be an easy place to find an then we could all cruise to spots the locals know

I belive there is a casino south west of town in the hills you locals know what I'm talkin about.. That would be an awesome back drop!! I'm gettin my grille painted this week.. Kinda excited about that!!
 
Im gonna go check out lake harriet and calhoun tomorrow after work and see what I can find for photo ops. As far as a casino goes, there are only a couple, and really only one in the metro area. Grand Casino Hinkley is about an hour north of the cities and is where Pete, John and I met the first time. There was a couple cool spots up there for pictures. Otherwise there is Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake, which is south of the cities by about a half hour. I'm not too sure what there is for photo shots though.

I'll let you guys know if I find a nice spot by Lake Calhoun.

Can we get a everyone who is interested in coming to write down which day(s) they are free and what times?
 
Yes, a scenic place like a lake would be cool, as would a warehouse type industrial location.

Casino's during the daytime aren't that cool to look at, so I'd have to think about that.


I'm coming down the morning of the 4th, so afternoon then, or anytime on the 5th.
 
I've been to mystic a couple times but didn't see anything for photo ops that I can remember. I just need some thing to put into the nav. I have a hard enough time finding the metrodome. Saturday around 2, 3 or 4 pm works realy well for me.
 
Running Aces is a card room in Forest Lake... if you guys really wanted to meet at a Casino... how many people are supposed to be coming?

There are tons of spots check out Lake Isles and Ceader too, they are all connected together one big parkway, great for driving.
See map I posted.
