2002_lincolnLS - I would say pretty close to the interior room in the LS. For some reason, the rear floor space is bigger, due to the positioning of the front seats. Just doesn't have a lot of headroom in the back.
The trunk is huge.

BlackLS06 - Just the chrome strips that are there to replicate the whiskers on the panther.
It does have rear fog lights. Could be something that's required in UK/Europe, since they are all still built there. The light pieces above the chrome strip on the lid are it. Really bright when i turn them on.

Elmino - It does have the Leds intergrated into the headlights.
I will be leaving this one alone in terms of modifications. Just tint and that's it. Even that won't be for little while.

Tint is a requirement in Texas. lol That's not an option with any of my cars. lol

Seems like all the new cars are going away from fog lights. A lot of them have LEDs there now for looks.
 
I heard an XKR go by the other day, I assume stock, and it sounded so good, I thought to my self this is my future.
 
I was fibbin' with mods. I think if I bought a new car, I wouldn't be touching it until the warranties were up. I've thought wrong before though.
 
Man that is nice. I got your message that you sent me too a while back. I've been seriously looking at these as well. I'm beginning to see them here and there around where I live. Once I get Ia few of these dam bills paid off, I seriously think this will be in my garage. I like that interior a lot.

Just tint and that's it. I appreciate every inch on the car, i think it's perfect. If i did anything other than wheels, would probably be taking away from the classy look.
The exhaust is AMAZING. It's got a very low tone exotic note to it. And, it's very loud if i get on it.

Sounds a lot like the XFR in the video with the the crackling and rumbling.

The XKR-S has slightly different system on it. Jaguar recently confirmed that they will be producing XFR-S, which should sound just like the XKR-S. They are trying to really take the fastest saloon title away from E63 AMG and the M5.

Exactly! That's why i went all out, so i don't have to touch it. Plus, it's a Jaguar, i wouldn't want to punk it out.

Hope everything is good with you.
I was wondering what had happened.....good to hear from you man.
The car is really something. It gets a lot of attention too, which i am actually starting to not like.lol I had a family surrounding the car a week ago, checking it out.
If you need to know specifics, pricing on them, let me know. I have to say, i have excelled Jaguar salesmen in the knowledge department about their cars. lol
 
Nice. Love that interior. Consider adding a positive fuel pump cutoff within reach of the driver since it looks like a computer problem would lock you out of throttle and trans control. It would suck to be in a car that can go 160+MPH that has a locked out throttle and a locked out gear shifter.
 
I don't watch those races, but I recognize that track from Forza. lol

I've always liked Jaguar... but you guys may make me a true fan. I saw one on the road today, and they look very nice... I'm dying over the no fogs though.
 
Needless to say, threads like these since joining LVC (and watching a :q:q:q:qton of the real Top Gear) my taste in cars has changed.

Definitely no punk's car.

We come up every once in awhile... Dominican this year (next week actually), but I'll def let you know when we're up next ...It would be the best airport pickup i've had in a while (remember Gorrell has two LL's, for the sign) :p
 
Congratulations - beautiful car! Have always had a soft spot for Jags. My dad had an XJS back in the day with a V12 that was incredible to drive, but if you know anything about Lucas electronics it was a total crapshoot whether you'd make a trip without breaking down once or twice! :eek:

Yes, Jaguars were horrible back in the day, but when Ford took ownership, most of that was left behind. This year Jaguar was #2 on the charts for reliability. They have been doing an amazing job. If they keep us like this, they will be selling more than the 16,000 cars they sell in the whole country.
Especially with the baby XK (F type) on the way and the Sportbrake XF.

BTW, how is the new LS treating you?

Stunning car. I was hoping yours would come with some of the more sportier wheels - I suppose the Portfolio package is more luxury oriented?

One could get the sportier wheels with the Portfolio package as an option. Mine is Portfolio pack 2.
But, from what i garnered, in order to get London Tan interior with the exterior color i have, the car comes with those wheels as a package.
 
So, uh, any chance for a video of you tearing up the streets?
