Ben's LS

I wanted to color match them, but it's my daily driver and I hardly have time to sit around for the rings to dry let alone enough time for paint to dry. Maybe another time hopefully.

Finally fixed that pesky a pillar leak today that I've been dealing with for a year. Just zip tied the hose up and we are good to go.

Also epoxyed the velcro tabs holding up the back of the ceiling panel. I did this last year but I guess I didn't use the right stuff so I tried something different.

Here's a quick pic of the light with angel eyes and clear corner from Alex. I am itching to finally get these installed and lit up!

that looks good! i see red and black in there (top of low beam), is that the wires? i hear eyebrows lol

Yeah it's the wires. I was having a hard time trying to get them where I wanted so I just gave up lol. I'm debating on the eyebrow situation right now. If I painted them to match the car, would the paint hold up on the light?

when you say hold up on the light, do you mean from the sun and weather beating on the paint, or from the heat of the lights?

mine are painted on. im using 35w HIDs for my lows and highs, and they hold up fine.

Thanks kaball!

dnyce, I just mean hold up in general lol

I'm really not sure about eyebrows, but if I can get the wires in my other headlight to hide real well then I will just open this light back up and try to fix them. I kinda like the eyebrows on pektel's car, but thats really the only pic I've seen of a lighter colored ls with eyebrows.

Thanks haha When I black out my lower grille I think I might try out some plasti dipped eyebrows to see how I feel about them.

What did you use for this? The rear of my ceiling panel is not staying up, along with right near the sun roof. Was going to do 3m tape to see if it held it, but if there is anything else I should use instead, I'd like to know!

Car looks good

Last year I used Devcon 5 Minute Epoxy(just something I picked up at the hardware store) and it lasted awhile, but the ceiling started drooping again. This time I used Loctite Stick and Seal so we will see how it works out. I'm not entirely sure what your best bet would be seeing as I haven't had much luck with it yet. Maybe someone else will be able to chime in with what they used because I know this is a common problem.

The velcro strips had come off of my roof (the adhesive had worn out). I glued the strip back to the roof with gorilla glue about 6 months ago, and so far so good.

Finally got 2 days off so I am gonna crack open (not literally) my other headlight. Installed pics should be up by Tuesday night if all goes well.

Finished up the angel eyes the other day and have them on the car.

Pics will be up soon.

Not the best lighting, camera, angle, etc, etc but heres a quick pic of the angel eyes I took today before work. I love how the clear corners and bumper lights make the front end so much cleaner.

Up next is tint and blacking out the lower grille

Here's a pic with a little better lighting to be able to see the lights. Don't mind the huge bug splats.

Washed her up today and thought I'd snap a pic. Enjoy.

I've been debating on lse grille or possibly making my own "mclaren" type grille.

Actually, it's not the door that is off it is the front fender. Both of my front fenders sit lower than the doors for some reason. My car has never been wrecked so I'm not totally sure why.
