I removed my old degas bottle after removing the wipers, wiper covers, strut brace, etc. and it came out with bit of effort using some channel-lock pliers.
Now trying to reinstall the hose and new hose clamp on the new bottle is challenging if not nearly impossible. The old hose just doesn't seem long enough to be able to hook it up to the tank (even after pulling on it). And my hands aren't small enough to fit them down there and hook up the hose as the tank must be halfway down into position in order to hook it up.
I may punt and go get some extra heater hose, a fitting, and extend the hose long enough to be able to hook it up to the tank and then slide the tank back down into place.
Tried from underneath the car but can't fit my hand under the brake booster. Very frustrating. What a pain for what should be a 10 min fix.
Took the wheel off and inner liner and that helped enough to get the hose back on and tightened with a regular hose clamp. So that was the trick. I used the Doorman tank since it was considerably cheaper ~$95 shipped.
Could anyone tell me if both of the inlet/outlets(?) at the top of the recovery/degas tank should have hoses connected to them? Probably a stupid question I know, but before I dived into this project I thought that I better make sure.
One has a hose going toward engine and other one( closest to driver) has nothing connected to it. Appreciate any help I could get. Thanks.

Thanks joegr and jealous. It absolutely helped. I can see from diagram that it appears that only the bleeder hangs from that port. saved me a lot of head scratching.
